MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 8, 2018) – The World of Outlaws wrapped up the final race of the season in the Empire State this past Saturday night at Fulton (N.Y.) Speedway. Shane Stewart and his Kyle Larson Racing team put together a strong night and tallied a solid top-five finish at the 1/3-mile, high-banked circuit.

Stewart kicked off the night by earning the quickest qualifying lap-time and started on the pole of the opening heat race. He went on to win Heat 1, transferring him into the dash. The Bixby, Okla., native finished sixth in the Sears Craftsman Dash to earn an outside row three starting position for the 30-lap feature event. Stewart settled in the sixth spot and just after the halfway point, he moved into the top five. On the final lap, Stewart was able to gain one more position to earn a fourth-place finish.

“We had another good finish this weekend at Fulton,” said the pilot of the Chevrolet Accessories No. 2. “It feels good to be back in a stride of good finishes. I can’t thank Heath [Moyle] and Jakob [Weaver] enough for all of their hard work. We just need to keep the momentum rolling and finish out the season strong for Kyle and all of our sponsors.”

The Kyle Larson Racing team will be back in action Friday, October 12 at Jacksonville (Ill.) Speedway.
