MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 13, 2019) – The Kyle Larson Racing team concluded a weekend of competition the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio this past Saturday. Carson Macedo raced to an impressive podium finish Friday night, but Saturday’s portion of #LetsRaceTwo was postponed to July as a result of consistent rainfall after qualifying was completed.

Macedo kicked off the #LetsRaceTwo weekend by qualifying fifth in Flight 2 of time trials. He grabbed the early lead in the fifth heat race and went on to win, earning a spot in the DIRTVision Fast Pass Dash. Again, the pilot of the Chevrolet Accessories, Tarlton and Son, Inc., Complete Parts and Equipment Solutions No. 2 seized the lead to claim a front row starting spot for the 30-lap feature event. The main event went wire-to-wire and Macedo earned a solid third-place finish.

“The Big E definitely didn’t disappoint,” said the 22-year-old. “The racetrack changed so much throughout the night on Friday and I really feel like Joe [Gaerte] and Trey [Bowman] did a great job of adjusting our racecar with it. The feature race was awesome, multiple racing lines which always makes it interesting. All in all, I thought we had a pretty decent night. We were able to earn a podium finish, but looking back, I need to do a better job of keeping myself calm in certain situations but also attacking more in lapped traffic. We will learn and are ready to head to Lincoln later this week.”

The Kyle Larson Racing team will be back in action Wednesday night at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Penn. For more information on this event, please visit If you are unable to make it to this race, it will be streamed on DIRTvision.
