MONTH OF MONEY: The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series’ Month of Money kicks off this week in the Buckeye State and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) star Kyle Larson will back in action with the Greatest Show on Dirt. “Yung Money” will pilot the Silva Motorsports/ Chevrolet Accessories/ Finley Farms No. 57 at Attica (Ohio) Raceway Park on Tuesday for the Brad Doty Classic followed up by the rain-postponed #LetsRaceTwo event at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

BRAD DOTY CLASSIC: Larson has competed in a trio of Brad Doty Classics and bettered his finishing position each time. At Limaland Raceway Park in Lima, Ohio and piloting the Indy Race Parts No. 71 in 2012, he finished fifth in the Last Chance Showdown, missing the final transfer spot to the feature. Larson’s next Brad Doty Classic was in 2017 at Attica Raceway Park, where he earned a top-10 finish. Last year, he qualified second in the opening flight of time trials and finished third in his heat race before advancing from 15th to earn the runner-up spot in the 40-lap feature event. The 26-year-old has two wins at Attica Raceway Park, both coming during Ohio Speedweek with the All Star Circuit of Champions.

THE BIG “E”: One of Larson’s paramount tracks is the famed Eldora Speedway. It is the site of the most influential win of his career, where he swept the 2011 4-Crown Nationals, picking up the victory in the USAC National Midget, USAC National Sprint Car and USAC Silver Crown series in his first ever visit to the half-mile. In 2016, he won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Apsen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby. Finally, in 2018, Larson stood atop the podium at The Big “E” during Ohio Speedweek with the All Stars. With that win, Larson had won in every type of racecar he has ever competed in at Eldora Speedway.
