HOMEWARD BOUND: Fresh off a sixth-place finish at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) star Kyle Larson is set to return home to California for the Fastest Four Days in Motorsports with the King of the West Series presented by the Northern Auto Racing Club (KWS/NARC). The Elk Grove native will pilot the Silva Motorsports No. 57 starting Wednesday at Placerville Speedway, followed up by Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico on Thursday and rounded out with back-to-back nights at The Stockton Dirt Track.

GOLD COUNTRY SHOWDOWN:Wednesday night, Larson returns to Placerville Speedway at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds for the Gold Country Showdown. In addition to competing with the KWS/NARC 410 sprint cars, he will be competing in his Kyle Larson Racing 1k Finley Farms midget with the POWRi-BCRA Midgets. Larson is no stranger to the quarter-mile clay oval, he scored his career-first sprint car victory at the track in 2007 and it is the site where he wrapped up his Golden State Challenge championship in 2010.

THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER: The following night, Larson will head north to Silver Dollar Speedway, another quarter-mile where he’s found success. In 2011, he picked up his career-first World of Outlaws victory and became the youngest driver to win the Gold Cup Race of Champions. Larson claims it is still one of the most important moments in his career. He backed that title up with another Gold Cup Race of Champions triumph the following year.

CHAMPIONS CLASSIC: Larson’s week in the Golden State will conclude with the Champions Classic, including the $10,000-to-win finale at Stockton Dirt Track. The 27-year-old has one start at the 3/8-mile circuit during the World of Outlaws inaugural event at the newly renovated facility. Larson qualified third, won his heat race, finished third in the dash and picked up the win to score the third World of Outlaws victory of his career.
