The Kyle Larson Racing team and Carson Macedo will compete in the Battle of Michigan at Hartford (Mich.) Speedway on Friday night, followed up by the Badger 40 at Wilmot (Wisc.) Raceway on Saturday.

BATTLE OF MICHIGAN: KLR and Macedo are set for their one and only start of 2019 in the Great Lakes State this Friday night for the Battle of Michigan. The Lemoore, Calif., native has one start with the World of Outlaws at the 3/8-mile high-banked oval. In 2017, Macedo qualified ninth and finished seventh in his heat race before advancing seven spots in the feature to finish 12th. KLR also took home the victory at Hartford Speedway in 2016 with driver, Shane Stewart.

BADGER 40: Macedo has one start with the World of Outlaws at Wilmot Raceway that came in 2017. He qualified 20th and finished fifth in his heat race before finishing 21st in the feature event. Over the past three seasons, the KLR team and Stewart earned two sixth-place finishes and a runner-up score that came in 2017.

MACEDO ON THE WEEKEND: “Going into this weekend I’m excited to see what we can do,” said Macedo. “I have been to both of these racetracks with the Outlaws which is nice because I have an idea of what I’m getting into. Joe Gaerte and Trey Bowman have been doing a ton of work behind the scenes to get our racecar better and better. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate their efforts and I’m looking forward to doing my part to make the KLR car as good as it can possibly be. It should be a fun weekend.”
