FULTON SPEEDWAY: As the season winds down, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series is set for their last start of the season in the Empire State this weekend. Kyle Larson Racing and Shane Stewart will make their one and only start of 2018 at Fulton (N.Y.) Speedway Saturday night.
FULTON HISTORY: Stewart and his KLR team have competed at Fulton Speedway the past two seasons. Last year, the Bixby, Okla., native finished 11th and in 2016, Stewart led his team to a fifth-place score after starting 10th at the 1/3-mile, high-banked oval.
STEWART ON THIS WEEKEND: “I am looking forward to getting back to racing this weekend,” said the pilot of the Chevrolet Accessories No. 2. “We are coming off a fairly successful weekend at the National Open so I hope as a team we can keep the momentum rolling this weekend at Fulton.”
KLR OWNER: KLR is owned by NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series driver Kyle Larson. After narrowly advancing to the Round of 12 in the NMECS Playoffs, the Elk Grove, Calif., native will compete in the Gander Outdoors 400 at Dover (Del.) International Speedway this Sunday.
