TRIPLE HEADER WEEKEND: The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series takes on three different tracks in three different midwestern states this weekend. Shane Stewart and Kyle Larson Racing will kick it all off Friday night at Jacksonville (Ill.) Speedway, followed up by the Wabash Clash at Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track on Saturday and round it out with the #LastCallForThemAll at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Sunday.

THIRD TIME’S A CHARM AT JACKSONVILLE: Despite being postponed twice already this season, the KLR team is ready to take on Jacksonville Speedway on Friday. The team has had one previous start at the high-banked, quarter-mile circuit. In 2016, Stewart qualified second in Flight B of time trials and won Heat 4, transferring him into the Dash. During the Dash, he earned the third starting position for the feature event where he went on to claim a strong runner-up score.

TERRE HAUTE RETURN: The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to Terre Haute Action Track for the first time since 2014 this Saturday. During their inaugural season together as a team, Stewart qualified fifth and finished fourth in his heat race, before advancing three spots in the main event to finish in sixth-place at the half-mile track.

THE HOUSE THAT EARL BUILT: The famed Eldora Speedway has always been an important track to the KLR team. In the team’s inaugural season, Stewart won KLR’s first ever feature in their second start of the year. In 2015, the Bixby, Okla., native swept the King’s Royal, one of the sports crown jewel events. The following year, the team won the World of Outlaws’ portion of the 4-Crown Nationals. This season hasn’t gone quite like the KLR team has wanted or expected, but the team’s one win this season came at the famed half-mile during the Joker’s Wild portion of the Kings Royal.
