MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND: With Mother Nature claiming 16 events already this season, four in the last week, the Kyle Larson Racing team is looking forward to getting back on track this weekend. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to KLR’s home track, The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., this Friday night and Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway on Monday.

OUTLAW SHOWDOWN: Shane Stewart and the KLR team return to The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway for Friday night’s Outlaw Showdown. In 12 starts at the semi-banked 4/10-mile circuit, the team has earned two quick times, five top-fives and six top-10 finishes, with Stewart’s best score coming in May 2016 with a runner-up effort.

MEMORIAL DAY SPECTACULAR: On Monday, Stewart and the KLR team will defend their back-to-back Memorial Day wins at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Last year, Stewart charged from fourth and had an epic battle with team owner, Kyle Larson, in the closing laps to come out as the victor. One year prior to that, the Bixby, Okla., native had a great battle exchanging slide-jobs with Rico Abreu and eventually claimed the big win. Watch the 2017 race highlights from Lawrenceburg here and 2016 here.

LARSON AT LAWRENCEBURG: Weather permitting the completion of Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., Stewart will be joined by team owner Larson in the Silva Motorsports BRANDT No. 57 machine. In three starts with the World of Outlaws at Lawrenceburg, 25-year-old has never finished worse than fourth. He also has two top-five finishes with the USAC National Midgets during Indiana Midget Week and a third-place finish in a non-winged sprint car at the 3/8-mile track.

RACE INFORMATION: Tickets for Friday’s Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway can be found here. Tickets for Monday’s Memorial Day Spectacular at Lawrenceburg Speedway can be found here.

KLR OWNER: KLR is owned by NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series (NMECS) driver Kyle Larson. The Elk Grove, Calif., native will be competing at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Sunday night’s Coca-Cola 600 and weather permitting, will head to Lawrenceburg Speedway on Monday.

KLR TEAM: The Kyle Larson Racing team is led by general manager Paul Silva of Sacramento, Calif., and crew chief Lee Stauffer of York, Penn., with Heath Moyle of Middleburg, Penn., and Jakob Weaver of Coldwater, Mich.
